These two activities complement and enrich each other constantly through exchanges with students, other teachers, and the contribution of arrangements on Radiohead, Jazz Standards, and original compositions that allow the musician to give meaning to the necessary transmission in Jazz and contemporary music…
Sébastien is a professor of Jazz piano and Jazz ensemble at the CRD de Vanves and at the École de l’Harmonie de Meaux.
Since 2017, he has been a professor at New York University in Paris and will be invited in the summer of 2017 by the prestigious NYU Steinhardt Jazz School in Manhattan to lead 15 days of workshops alongside American Jazz legends.
Sébastien Paindestre has recently gained a beautiful notoriety among saxophonists and teachers in France and abroad thanks to his piece for piano and alto and soprano saxophone ROUND’ RADIOHEAD published by BILLAUDOT. It has been selected as a mandatory piece for the 2nd cycle C exams by the Confédération Musicale de France, representing 3500 music schools and conservatories in France!
